God blesses us with beautiful autumn days during the fall season.  The trees change colors; and as they continue to lose their leaves, we witness the fall gracefully preparing for the winter.  While many folks – saved and unsaved - are also preparing for the winter, some are not, and they will be faced to confront what is known as the coldest season of the year on its own “wintery brutal” terms.
As Christian believers, however, and citizens of the Kingdom of God, we know that we are in this world but not of this world.  We know that if we continue to “trust and obey” our Father God that He will protect us from all the “fiery darts” of the wicked one’s winter.  We know that our preparation must be continual and that we must be ready in season and out of season by reading God’s Word, fasting, and praying.

Faith, prayer, and a verse a day will most certainly keep the devil at bay. Be ready when Jesus comes!  He's coming back again!

Therefore you also be ready,
for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect
(Matthew 24:44)
